MEET YOUR doula
First and foremost, I am proud to say I am a mom, and my passion is helping families postpartum!
As a DONA International Certified Postpartum Doula, my goal is to nurture and empower families in their new roles. I have the knowledge to provide evidence-based support through emotional and physical recovery.

Until the birth of our second child I worked as a corporate event planner. I loved my job, I loved the hustle and bustle, and most importantly I loved creating memorable experiences for my clients and their guests. It was after welcoming our second child that my priorities shifted and I made the decision to be a stay-at-home mom. The transition was not easy and while I was grateful for the opportunity to be home with my children I also wanted something of my own that allowed me the flexibility to care for my family.
After lots of self-exploration and reflection I could say with confidence I had given birth to my purpose! Had I never become a mom, I may have never gone down the path to becoming a certified postpartum doula. Having had two completely different postpartum experiences, I knew I wanted to provide support to other mothers in their “fourth trimester,” a time that is both delicate and special. From my personal experience I understand both the highs and lows of the weeks following delivery.
WHAT TO EXPECT.
WHAT TO EXPECT.

Families can expect for me to be patient, friendly, calming and always willing to understand your unique experience in dealing with the transition of bringing home your new little angel.
SUPPORT and CARE

Postpartum healing is not just the physical recovery after delivery but also encompasses mental and emotional healing as well. Each and every birthing experience is special and unique, I will listen deeply and provide a safe space to process your birth story. Along with that, I will answer your questions, address any concerns and provide evidence based information and guidance to empower you to make the best decisions for your family. I provide support for mothers following cesarean section or other birth experiences requiring additional healing time, as well as referrals to local resources and companionship.

While bringing home a new baby is a fun and exciting experience, it is also a major adjustment. I would be honored to offer emotional support and care for your child as they transition into their new role as a big sibling. I can help create alone time and special moments for just you and your older child. Making dedicated one-on-one time can result in positive feelings towards having to share attention.
-
I will help with light housework, including dishes, baby laundry and tidying so you can focus on resting, healing, and bonding with your new baby. In addition, I am happy to assist with setting up efficient organization systems in your home as well as restocking feeding and changing stations. I strive to help families establish systems that are easy to maintain.

BEEN THERE, done that, and I GET IT!
As a mother of two and having two completely different postpartum experiences I know firsthand the physical, mental and emotional highs and lows one feels after welcoming a new baby. My passion lies in being able to listen, encourage and help families as they navigate their new season. I have learned that the smallest gestures make the biggest difference and I want that for each and every family I serve.
